Moira is quite simply the happiest baby. Even when she's upset it usually takes just holding her to get her to quiet down and she's never too upset over anything other than being hungry, bedtime and waking up in her crib. As you can see from her school picture below she remains the most photogenic and happiest! Mama and Daddy may need some respite from the midnight wake-ups (due to teething, poor thing), but so long as she's happy then it makes me happy.
I also got a call on Monday that Moira got in to the preschool down the street!!!! She'll be starting out there in the 12-18 month room, so she needs to be fully transitioned to sippy cups, ready to eat some shrimp and chicken (i.e. she needs some teeth already!) and we need to start introducing Asian flavors to her because all of the food is Asian influenced and made in house! She'll be learning English in the morning and then Mandarin in the afternoons. It's so exciting, but also sad to say goodbye to her current school which we all love, but we're on to new adventures in the fall!

She's also so curious about everything and into as much as she can get her hands on (including Daddy's credit cards... uhoh!).
This past weekend we celebrated Bill's dual day (birthday and first father's day!!) by having a staycation, with Mo staying at her Aunt Joanie's while we hung out at Radegast beer hall with some friends while watching the world cup and then had dinner. We still woke up at 6am, but managed to fall back asleep enough to consider it "sleeping in". As a big Premiere League soccer fan, Bill has been really into these World Cup games, I even recognize a few players here and there.

| The view at Radegast. There were also tons of kids and a great band playing polka-ish music, so we're totally coming back with the Mango! |

Monday was also the anniversary of my Grandmother Maria (Moira's namesake)'s birthday. If she was still alive she would be 98!

- Busy weekends coming up- swimming and Stamford for a 1st birthday on Saturday, swimming and world cup with friends on Sunday. Next weekend we're heading to Westchester too.
- Speaking of Stamford and Westchester, just getting some experience doing this commute... also checking out towns and houses to get a better idea. Thinking this time next year we may be making a move. Exciting and scary!
- Back to traveling for the 4th, the big McKinney-Lee Gatlingburg trip in mid-July, traveling to Connecticut for a wedding in late July, baseball roadtrip to Baltimore-DC in early August and then the Cape trip right after.
- And finishing up the summer with the Mango's 1st Birthday!!!! Tia Teresa, Uncle Chris, Nana Tricia, Tata, Grandma and Grandpa McKinney, Aunt Chrissie, Uncle Steve and Cousin Charlie are all coming in for the weekend... and I'm rethinking venues (current fav is Morgan's but need to price it out).
